Wine Description: This medium-bodied, smooth Cabernet Sauvignon has vibrant notes of blackberry fruit, hints of vanilla and oak, and a lingering finish. Pair this round Cabernet Sauvignon with Beef Bourguignon.

Wine Folly: Californian Cabernet Sauvignon offers lush black fruit flavors that unravel into layers of cedar, dusty minerality, and tobacco-laced tannins. (pg 624). Pairs well with rich grilled meats, Peppery sauces, and highly flavored dishes. (pg 204). Aromas to look for are Black Currant, Pencil lead, tobacco, Blackcherry, and mint. (pg 207).

My Review: The wine had a very fruity and thick aroma. It tasted really acidic, I could not taste the Blackberry fruit, however, I could taste little hints of wood.

Overall, I would not recommend it. Personally, I did not enjoy it as it was really acidic. However, I also did not have this with food and did not decant it for the recommended 60+ minutes.
